Growing up I never aspired to be a lawyer. I didn’t come from a family of attorneys, I don’t recall ever having met one, it just wasn’t on my radar. What I did know was that I wanted to wear a suit, run a business, and make a difference. Becoming a lawyer checked all those boxes—and then some.

I have found however this career aligns with my strengths: a love for problem-solving, a drive to advocate for others, and the ability to show up for people during their hardest times. I take great pride in helping clients navigate challenges, and I see legal representation as a privilege—not a job.

I’ve built a career taking on difficult cases that others often turn down. From catastrophic injuries, to cases involving hazardous waste, to traumatic brain injuries, and fire losses, I’ve handled it all. I even worked on the NFL traumatic brain injury litigation before it became a national story. I have experienced everything from the high of getting clients the absolute most they could ever legally recover, to the devastation of the loss of clients who succumbed to their injuries, and I carry it all with me because it makes me stronger.

To accelerate my growth, I’ve trained under some of the best in the field, including graduating from the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College and its Advanced Course, amongst many other trial colleges. I continue attending courses annually and have built strong relationships with attorneys nationwide who challenge and inspire me to be better. I believe that to be the best, you must learn from the best.

What sets me apart is my readiness to go the distance. Insurance companies and defense firms track everything, including whether an attorney is willing to take a case to a jury verdict. While my clients are the ultimate decision makers, I ensure they know they have an advocate in it to get them the absolute best result possible.

Outside of work, I’m always on the move—hiking, building, barbecuing, or paddleboarding under the San Diego sun. My kids keep me active, grounded, and motivated to be the best version of myself. I don’t always get it right, but I never stop trying. Thanks for taking the time to learn a bit about me—I look forward to learning about you, too.
